Does it hurt your credit score when searching for the best mortgage?

This is what the experts say:

I am happy to answer any questions that you may have without running credit.  As for the hard inquiries, you are only being hit once for the first time it was pulled.   The bureaus are aware that you will be shopping around and will group your credit inquiries as one inquiry.  As long as they are all pulling credit for a mortgage.   Once you have credit run the first time, you are free to have as many mortgage lenders as you want run your credit within a 45 day period without being hit a second time on your credit score.   So you are fine!

Feel free to give me a call at 586-995-0571 and I would be happy to help you!
